Swabhiman Samiti is a registered society under the Society Registration Act of 1860. Guided by Gandhian Philosophy of Nonviolence, Local self-Governance and Sustainable livelihood, we work towards eradicating poverty, violence, gender-based violence, climate change, and natural disasters. Using a feminist and rights-based approach, we promote youth leadership and advocate for improved water and sanitation.
The aim of bringing positive change to the lives of marginalized people in society. Its focus areas include geography, livelihood, poverty alleviation, education, health (including SRHR and Covid-19 awareness), climate change & disaster risk reduction (DRR), water & sanitation, and women & adolescents' rights.
Swabhiman Samiti employs strategies such as community mobilization, capacity building, advocacy, and program implementation, including technology, to achieve its goals. It started working in five villages in Uttar Pradesh and has since expanded to other areas in the region.

We works towards empowering the community members by focusing on various thematic areas, such as social justice, youth leadership, climate justice, and gender equity, to eliminate patriarchy, poverty, and social injustice within society. The organization strives to achieve sustainable development and bring about positive change in the lives of marginalized communities.
We have accomplished multiple MILESTONES such as promoting Livelihood, Community Health, KYBKYR, Rojgar Evam Swasthya Adhikar Pariyojna, Farmer's Clubs, providing flood relief, empowering youth, immunizing children, and addressing disasters, impacting over 13,000 families.
