Rooted in the Soil of Eastern Uttar Pradesh
Founded in Uska Bazar, Siddharthnagar, Swabhiman Samiti has dedicated over two decades to eliminating systemic barriers in rural education, adolescent health dignity, women's leadership, and sustainable agriculture across the Terai plains.

Grassroots Legitimacy Built Over Two Decades
Swabhiman Samiti was established in Uska Bazar, a semi-rural block nestled in the flood-prone Terai plains of Siddharthnagar district, Uttar Pradesh. Confronted with pervasive rural poverty, high school dropout rates, and recurring monsoon disasters, our founders resolved to create an institution owned and driven by the community.
Rather than imposing top-down blueprints, we activate village committees, train local female leaders, establish adolescent peer clubs, and collaborate with district authorities to ensure public welfare entitlements reach the most vulnerable households.
