Introduction

In an effort to promote environmental awareness among students, Swabhiman Samiti, in collaboration with the Wildlife Trust of India, successfully organized two educational competitions at Uska Bazaar’s Gyanodaya Inter College and Kisan Inter College. These competitions aimed to instill a deeper understanding of wetlands, wildlife, and ecological preservation among young learners, encouraging them to become responsible citizens dedicated to protecting the environment.

Objectives

The primary goal of these competitions was to educate students about critical environmental issues while providing them with an interactive and engaging learning experience. Through activities that tested their knowledge and creativity, students were encouraged to explore the importance of ecological conservation and sustainable practices.

Participation and Activities

• The Art Competition at Kisan Inter College featured 50 students, who showcased their creativity by illustrating themes related to environmental conservation, biodiversity, and climate change.

• These competitions served as an excellent platform for students to express their knowledge and artistic talents while reinforcing their understanding of environmental challenges.
