Project Chhalang Hosts Sports Fair at Phulwaria
Introduction:
On December 18, 2024, Swabhiman Samiti successfully organized a sports fair under Project Chhalang at the Upper Primary School in Phulwaria, Lotan Block. This event aimed to promote physical activity and enjoyment among the children of the local community, emphasizing the importance of fitness, teamwork, and fun.
Objectives:
The sports fair sought to engage children in interactive and enjoyable games while encouraging them to develop healthier lifestyles. It also aimed to foster a sense of community participation and involvement in physical activities.
Participation and Activities:
The fair featured three game stalls, each offering different engaging activities:
1. Postman Game
2. Catch Your Football
3. Jeera Kata
The children eagerly participated, moving from one stall to the next and experiencing the excitement of each game.
The event attracted a large gathering, including:
• 238 children from Phulwaria village.
• Local community members: 9 women and 3 men.
• Local staff and volunteers:
