Launch of Empower Ed Digital Literacy Program in KGBVs
Introduction:
The Empower Ed Digital Literacy Program was officially launched at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Uska Bazar as part of a broader initiative to improve digital literacy in Siddharthnagar and Maharajganj districts. The program aims to equip students with essential digital skills to enhance their learning experience and prepare them for the modern world. The formal launch of 20 centers operating in both districts marked a significant milestone in improving access to digital education in rural areas.
Inauguration Ceremony:
The main event took place at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Uska Bazar, where the launch was marked by the lighting of the lamp by the following dignitaries:

- Dr. S.K. Patel, Medical Superintendent, Community Health Center Uska Bazar

- Khyati Srinivas from eVidyaloka explained the program’s objectives and the crucial role it plays in enhancing digital literacy among students, particularly in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas.
- Upantika Kashyap, Rini Ji, and other team members from eVidyaloka participated in the event and provided valuable contributions to the discussion.
- Mamta Verma, President of Swabhiman Samiti, and Vinod Prajapati, Secretary of Swabhiman Samiti, were also present to speak about the collaboration between Swabhiman Samiti and eVidyaloka, and how the program aims to transform the learning experience of the students.
